As I sit by my window
Watching the rain fall
I see the drops slide
Down the window pane,
And let my tears fall.
My heart slowly breaks,
As the memories flood back.
The hurtful words I still
Hear ringing in my ears.
The look in your eyes
Say it all.
I turn and walk away,
As my heart shatters in two.
I wrap my arms around me
And watch the rain fall.
