True Love
by Heather Lynn McDanel (Age: 21)
copyright 03-08-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

True love--oh how sweet!
two lovers broken when they meet
When they first lock eyes
they're both surprised
by the feelings deep within

True love--oh how grand!
they now hold hands
go for walks on the sand
get married--then lives harried
but they have each other
amongst the clutter

True love--trounces all!
father son ball
then the unthinkable
this bond once unshakeable
and now they're in court
trying hard to sort
through their lives
a big surprise
betrayal by all

True love--What a sham!
it was all a scam
there remains not an iamb
of that long lost love
it flew off like a dove
so now they are broken once again
waiting for that passion within
to awaken once more
that now long closed door
so that true love can get back in

This is different. Don't ever close the door to love. Your heart will mend and the scar will be stronger than before. You will find love again and all will be better! Thanks, Anthony

A very mature treatise on love for one so young...not a criticism, but a compliment. You must have been exposed to the bad side of love through the old folks or parents in your life. Hope all is okay by now..

Warm Regards,
Lyle
