In his preface to *Parnassus* (1875), Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "Poetry teaches the enormous force of a few words, and, in proportion to the inspiration, checks loquacity."

In this short poem you have created a tone, an atmosphere from a few well-chosen, well-placed stylish words and images to which most readers would be able to relate. I read it several times just to savour the language and the tone. Well done, Aaron!
