I cannot see the path before me,
the sky above me,
the land around me.
Around all is gray.
Should I run and hide,
afraid of the thing I might find?
Or should I walk forward and take a chance,
not knowing what danger lies ahead?
What to do,
I’m scared and confused,
what should I do to get out of the gray?
But, I know what I must do,
I must walk forward in the gray.
And so I walk....
One step after another I take.
I walk into the cold never-ending gray.
But I must be strong and brave the gray.
Soon, it begins to fade...
I walk faster and faster,
with each step I take I find a new hope.
A sky begins to appear,
and land begins to take form.
And I’m finally I’m back where I belong.
