A Love Poem
by Andrea Jeanette DiGiantomasso (Age: 22)
copyright 03-10-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

I know what it's like to love someone,
I know what it's like to feel that pain,
I know what it's like to lose someone,
But I won't let you feel it again.

I know what it's like to be lookin' in,
I know what it's like to be outside,
I know how hard it is to start again,
But I will never leave your side.

I know what it's like to be alone,
I know what it's like to need a friend,
I know what it's like to have no home,
But I will be with you until the end.

I know what it's like to be let down.
I know, because I've felt it too.
But with you and those eyes so round,
I could never do that to you.

Be with me, my love...
