The Mists of Time by Autumn Balladerez

As I hid in the brush I saw him. He was tall, battered and waiting... for her. As the pain flowed over him, he cried, "Serena! why have you forsaken me!?" Then, he saw her.

She stepped from the fog and smoke, covered in blood, staining her pure white dress. Her odango's flowed around her, loose and falling, as she fell to her knees whispering, "Darien..."

He ran to her, taking her in his arms, as her life left
her fragile little body. "They all died but mother... Amara, Lita, Amy... everyone..."

He held her tight in his arms, as he cooed in her creamy ivory ear. "I know... I know... Your mother has to know what to do... Oh, Serena... you just can't die..."

She looked up at him, with eyes no longer innocent to the deep feeling of love. As she stroked his flushed cheek, she gasped for air and smiled weakly. "I'll die... with your love... in my heart..."

Her hand fell from his face as she lie dead in his grasp. His eyes filled with tears as he lowered his head and picked her up, walking back towards the smoke, fire, and brimstone... Back into the mists of time...

I don't know who they were... I am a Sailor Star known as Sailor North Star, and I do not know why any of this has happened.... I only know i was sent hear to watch these happenings transpire, in hopes they might help us in the future...
