Let These Tears be Your Lullaby
by Debra Rose (Age: 23)
copyright 11-28-2002

Age Rating: 16 to 127

Let these tears be your lullaby
Into eternal sleep
Let the soldiers be your instruments
Their cries your closing song
Let the childrens sobs be fairytales
Weaving perpetual tunes
Let the cold world be your blanket
Icy tendrils twined around you

Please cherish the night as sadness
The blood thick in the air
Cherish this death as true release
From a life that never cared
Cherish slit wrists as simple joy
And the copper liquid as life
Please cherish the devil and his home
Make this death your wife

Embrace the crushing hell upon you
You end this journey soon
Embrace the game that can't be won
The anguish and the ruins
Embrace the truth of self wrought death
How painless it can be
Embrace the end, the blood the tears
And drink this death with me
