Missing You

by Farrah Tate (Age: 35)
copyright 07-08-2001

Age Rating: 18 +

Sift through the long days
To ensure I retain your ways
Syphon long nights
Remembering forever more
The stroke of your hand
Through my hair and
Over my restful heart
Bewildering my world
With peace never known
With how the simplicity of cherish
Can progress to mean almost too much
Especially when no more
And waiting alone
For a mere glimpse
Of your ghost
Would I cry
Or simply sigh
To see you smile at my own
Once more?

---
For 'Jane' who lost her loved one.
