Earthquake Cake!
by Ellen Guidry (Age: 71)
copyright 11-21-2002

Age Rating: 7 to 127

From the kitchen of Ellen’s Aunt Mamie

Ingredients:

1 cup chopped nuts
1 cut shredded coconut

1 German chocolate cake mix

Topping (Before you bake it)
½ Stick of butter (or oleo)
1 # confectioner's sugar
1 8 oz. Cream cheese (light or reg.)
½ tsp. Vanilla

Method:
Grease bottom only of 9"x 13" pan.
Place nuts and coconut in bottom of pan

Mix cake according to directions on box.
(other ingredients for the cake mix are
not listed here.)
Spread batter over nuts and coconut.

Mix remaining ingredients and spoon over
cake mix.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

The top of this cake has cracks in it:
thus the name earthquake! It is also decadently (LOL, is that a word?) rich with that special topping!

Enjoy!!!!!

YUM!YUM!
When I saw the word earthquake, I decided not to read it, because earthquakes scare me.
But, curiosity killed the cat!
Gotta go try it out, TTFN!
