That Hurt
by Dari C.
copyright 07-08-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

Please,
Please,
Do not hurt me
I do not want to be hurt anymore.
The scars inside are bleeding
For the pain is lasting and lasting
My tears are getting dryer
For I have none left to even cry like before.
That touch is cold
So cold for I am shaking and so scared
All I want is to never see that face.
Why am I so afriad
Why can't I stand up for myself and say
Leave me alone for I do not want your touch,
That love you say, only you can give me
For that is not the way.
Please no more hurting that is what I wanted to say
That little girl, me, is all afraid
Was forced, threatened to not say.

Very strong, emotional poem which tugged at me as I read. Very well written....very strong.

sounds all too familair. Not the poem, the feelings I mean. I wrote about the same. I wonder if you will like it.
