The spawning salmon
Swimming upstream against all odds,
Toward her destination to lay fifty thousand eggs.
While the hen at home lays only one.
The salmon never cackles and struts about,
To celebrate what she's done.
And while we discount the salmon,
The cackling hen we adore and prize.
Therefore it takes not the acumen,
Of a businessman on busy Wallstreet.
Nor a graduate of Harvard Law School to reveal,
That it truly pays, just to advertise.
