This makes me wonder on the facts of life. Does anything really change but time? People will kill each other no matter what peacemakers rise and come to power. That is especially emphesized in today's world. I love the tone you end on... something a little more happy to bring a little light on these morbid problems, even though it has a sad tinge to it. It's a happy/sad ending. This poem is really haunting, and the words are echoing around and around in my head. Wonderful piece!

I like the way the poem smoothy blends the bleakness of the past with the hope for the future.

It's sad when those we know and love, leave us. Heaven is their reward so we should not have sorrow for them. Only lonliness in our hearts for them. Thanks, Anthony
