Falling and Rising

  Falling and Rising

Roaring white, the raging stream is ominous, running hard and cold
Swift rotation cuts a mighty chasm, fathoms deep and miles wide
Stretching blatantly, through natural rockland boulders
The scar-filled shores of Monday morning's tragedies cannot be denied

Reality and truth defeated soundly, Life's intrinsic background harshly fades away
Hazy facts transposed to Tuesday teardrops, memories scream to be released
The actual sequence of events to come are unforeseen, lost causes holding sway
Is Wednesday the beginning, the middle, or the end as Beasts of Revelation are unleashed

No such thing as Thursday's favorable time, no command performance shining
Sitting Stonehinge still, concentric listening to the inner-sanctum ghosts
Friday comes amidst exhaustion, tested in subjected words, brilliant, but blinding
Melting pot of Saturday, harkening hallucinations with Magus-Priest as host

Evaporating daybreak, instant Sunday sunrise, showcased mental image replay
Irrational adherence, multifaceted coolness, mist softens and surprises
Morning dew is windchime tinkling, crystalline glass, spun from shards of clay
Beyond this week of sheer depression, belling upswing, sweet mania is rising
