That is Why I Love You
by Andrea Jeanette DiGiantomasso (Age: 22)
copyright 09-19-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

When I look upon your face,
My pain, it leaves and runs away.
Pure ecstasia takes it's place.
That is why I love you.

When you take my hand in yours
All my life is fading black
The spring of joy, now it pours!
That is why I love you.

When I hear your voice so sweet
I long to taste your lips on mine
There our passions longing meet!
That is why I love you.

When your heart beats 'long side mine
I stroke your jaw and kiss again.
You hold me for the longest time.
That is why I love you!

Oops. Fixed. Thanks for telling me!

Andrea, your poem is lovely and sweet. The only thing which needs your attention is the spelling of heart in the last stanza.
