The coach rolled by with a fair lady perched aloft
Beside her a figure all cloak-ed in black
Her features were fine honey hair flying in the breeze
I gazed in her eyes and her eyes twinkled back
Thought I could the pretty maid love such a simple lad
Or was I imaging the warmth in her look?
One cool morn I met her down by the lily pads
We sat on the bank splashed our feet in the brook
Oh Coach Man’s daughter lay me down
And love me into rhapsody!
Oh Coachman’s daughter lay thee down
I’ll play thee like a melody!
I yearn for a kiss from your bee-stung red and rosy lips
You’re ripe for the harvest I’d reap your innocence
I’d savour you from the tip of your turned-up nose
All the way down to your pretty toe tips!
One summer day dewy love lolling in the grass
One brief bit of ecstasy – soon to be no more
The coach rolled by with the lady and then alas
I was left pounding futilely upon the Coachman’s door
Oh Coach Man’s daughter lay me down
And love me into rhapsody!
Oh Coachman’s daughter lay thee down
I’ll play thee like a melody!

I’ll play thee like a melody!... wow! I feel like the daughter, watching you warmly, smiling softly. I feel like the daughter... wanting to be played in the grass near the rippling water.. sigh. Wow, I love this. :)
