On a white horse he rides.
He comes with the dawn:
Bringing hope on wings of light,
Bringing life to the valley of death;
Coming not when he is wanted, but just when he is needed
As he promised.

On a white horse he rides,
Uncovers his light,
Draws out the poison;
A king is renewed
Because of him.

On a white horse he rides.

Very provoking verse. Draws images from Revelation's rider on a white horse. Leaves the poem open to more than one meaning. Very effective.
