Catchy title, draws you into the poem. I enjoyed reading. Unlike Mary though, "Rappers Delight" symbolizes very happy times in my life...lol. Nice poem.
Heh! Sounds like my day as a sales team coordinator. And like you, I like my job just the way it is! :-)
I liked how it flowed and didn't feel forced for the most part. :-)
The title sounds like a line from RAPPER'S DELIGHT that I used to listen to when I was young. Usually songs bring back a smile or happy memory, but that song... well, I wrote about it in my HELLO, MY NAME IS BRYTEYZ book. Good poem though. :-)
I've noticed as a general trend in poems, that you get "where" and "were" mixed up. I thought at first it was a typo, but I'm not sure if you have trouble with it (like some people do with there and their).
Where is like a place. Where are you? Where are you from?
Were is a form of 'to be' in the past tense. You were playing tennis. Were you out with your friends?
