Dreams

Scattered dreams make
the same dry, dead sound
as Autumn leaves
rustling on the ground

This sound echoes
so loud in my head,
making me tired-
and yet sleep I dread

Memories scream!
Invading my sleep
Silencing dreams,
their secrets I keep

The past corrupts
the future, I know
Dreams come with time,
but time moves so slow

Dreams are fragile
they float in the wind
Fading quickly,
hold on to the end
