I wonder why you hate me with such passion
I hear the streets turn into ice as you walk by
I see two cold eyes staring back, yet I feel so warm
I want it all to end, Oh please take this pain away!
I am nothing but a mere breath of life

I pretend my heart is made of ice
I feel so weak... WHY DO YOU LIKE DOING THIS TO ME!?
I touch the innocent and my heart begins to break
I worry that they will start to feel the same way
I am nothing but a mere breath of life

I understand why you do this now...
I say I had no choice, but to give in to the cold
I dream about the end of your evil reign
I try to look away, but I am frozen, you should see me
I look so content, you should feel me, I feel so cold, you should stare into my eyes and see past the darkness... CAN'T YOU SEE I'M AFRAID!?
I hope the innocent never feel the cold, I hope they cry the tears I was too afraid to shed, I hope that once again they break my heart, and lead me to the right place
