A tiny life...
Entered this world...
Met with love....
Filled with promise....
Harboring dreams....

A tiny life....
Departed of this world....
Leaving a grief....
That in time....
Is Broken....
By the silver threaded bonds....
Called....
A mothers' lasting love!!!

This poem is dedicated to a tiny life that was welcomed into the world, met with unconditional love, filled with promises and yes, harboring big dreams. Her tiny life was planned out before her. Would she have protested some of the choices we had decided for her? We chuckled and said yes! Her mothers' love for this tiny life went beyond the depths of depths by their shared common bond. Together, we prayed for, fought for, lived for, and loved this tiny life.

A tiny life departed this world, leaving a grief so raw, so deep, a heart so broken up, that sorrow and sorrow's sister followed us throughout the days. Together, we grieved, cried, and prayed. As the passage of time flowed from day to day, we found the silver bonded threads called a mothers' love. It was this love and our faith that enabled us to go on.

This is a loss that I cannot fathom. I was divorced and didn't get to see my kids once for several years and that was hard. This seems impossible, yet I know some do have to go on after something like this. Thank you for sharing your experience! Anthony

Celeste, this is so very expressive, emotional and moving... and uplifting.

I need to show this to my mother. :) I can't fully understand what you've gone thru, but she can and I think she'll really enjoy sharing your feelings and words with you.

Celeste, this is so poignant...it brings the tears, yet there is great beauty in your words.
To share sorrow like this is difficult, but you've done it graciously and with sincerity...
My thoughts are with you - may you continue to find strength in those "silver threaded bonds"....
Lary
