I Asked
by Wilma Barnett
copyright 01-19-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

I asked You for help,
You gave it.
I asked for relief,
You were there.
I asked You to keep him safe from harm,
You eased his burden.
I asked You,
You never questioned,
You gave.
Thank You, God.

This is a wonderful poem and the truth. Yes, Wilma, He answers our prayers. I can tell you from my own experiences that He certainly does. God bless you and your husband.

Warm Regards,
Lyle

Very powerful poem!!! Can see myself in that situation asking God for help when I felt no one else was there. Somehow He gave me the strength and I knew He heard me. Like they say " You are Never alone." I look forward to reading more of your thoughts and feelings. Loved this one.

He never does...thank you for that. Breaking the sentences (verses) would definitely make it more impactful. Welcome!
