Smiling Happy Slave (Connected Haiku's)
by Debra Rose (Age: 21)
copyright 01-19-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

This was inspired by a line a wrote to my girlfriend (now Fiancee!!! We're engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) in a love letter earlier: "Enslave me, and I will love it, never will protest. I love the feeling...knowing you want me so badly you keep me to you no matter what. I'd never leave you, and you, my lover, will never be allowed to leave me. As I bind myself to you in willing chains of heart, soul, and body, I keep you to me in fleece lined cuffs and beds of petals. My goddess. My Aphrodite. Sweet, beautiful, firey, and MINE."

I bind you to me
Keep your soul in a locked jar
And pray you will stay

While I keep myself
In chains and bound in your cage
Smiling happy slave

And the leather cuffs
And the soft fleece lined insides
Feel so good on skin

Being owned by you
Is a dream I never knew
Existed in my mind

But I had no soul
Till I tasted your nectar
And the heavens burst

Engulfed in hot flames
The skies fell in frenzied drops
And life was restored

Now with eyes anew
I bind my cleansed soul to you
And claim you as mine

In slavery now
Peace and contentment engulf
Hearts that beat again

WOW!!!! That's some kind of love. The first part was very much like vows you would make to your beloved.
