I am like a China Doll
sitting upon a shelf,
I guess that's the way
I've learned to see myself.
One that has been broken
when it was tossed around,
A doll without a smile
but with a painted frown.
One that has been hurt
that has felt alot of pain,
One with a life that has been full
of agony, stress, and strain.
I've gone through everything
that life can dish you out,
Now, dear God, I pray to You
please turn my life about.
This "China Doll" is broken
her heart, her life, her soul,
Please mend these broken pieces
before I get too old!
