The Sisters (Speaker 2/Representing all the woman who have something to say about the matter)


(Cles): She loved him you know.

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): With feelings that ran deep though her soul.

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): She tried hard to make it work, loving and supporting his very life.

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): How many tears can you let fall?

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): She couldn't handle not knowing which way her emotions were being dragged. This a way and that a way!

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): She couldn't bear the pain of just not knowing.

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): She loved him you know.

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): She had to let love go and walk away.

(The Sisters): But....

(Cles): She came back because she believed.

(The Sisters): But....

(Cles): He didn't.

(The Sisters) Well that ends it.

(Cles): But....

(The Sisters): You can't expect her to love him the same.

(Cles): But...

(The Sisters): She needs to walk on.

(Cles): She did...

(The Sisters): But...

(Cles): It was not without her being hungry for that love.

Just because you leave, doesn't mean you want to, it doesn't mean the hunger will ever go away, it doesn't mean that the heartache will soon heal. I heard a song today called "ANGRY ALL THE TIME" about a woman that basically said her leaving had NOTHING to do with whether she loved the man or not, she just couldn't live and didn't understand why he had to be angry all the time. I'm sure as she left, she still loved him. I know the feeling well.... *sigh*
