Don't give up, my friends, when there's no relief in sight.
Don't put down the sword and surrender all, don't give up this fight.
When the rains come and the winds blow and you are all but done,
Get off your butt, fill your lungs and shout,
"This battle is all but won!"
I know it's hard, I know it's tough, but just keep saying, "I can do this."
Because in the end you can smile and laugh while showing off your bruises.
Being scared is not a flaw, don't even think it is.
Having fear is good sometimes and gets you through life's biz.
It gives strength, determination, endurance, heart,
It can show you who you could be, who you will be from the start.
So don't give up, my friends, when there seems no end in sight,
Don't put down the sword, don't surrender all, don't stop this fight.
