Enter the One who Never Did Sing
by Debra Rose (Age: 21)
copyright 03-26-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

Quandaries: A state of uncertainty or perplexity. (plural noun).

Anti-social tendencies.
Flittering sweet discrepancies,
We're drifting in calm quandaries,
With trauma laced calamities.

And down six steps where I shall leave,
Whence I lay my head to grieve,
When quandaries I shall believe,
That none is true but to deceive.

And lives are spinning, always changing,
Moving fast, emotions wrangling,
In a nostalgia of intermingling,
Songs that I wish I could finally sing

But now I’m jaded, rock and soul,
For pain has pulled back the lock on the hole
Releasing the rust that eats at the soul
It’s tearing at me and taking it’s toll.

So sweet hells gates and heavens wings,
With your lies and what you bring,
Open your worlds with your tricks and your kings
And enter the one who never did sing.
