What is this man thing?
What is this woman thing?
All, would like to be the king.
Tell me, what ever happen to the queen?

Dream.

Bitterness is never sweet,
who could say?
Only you can take your dreams away.
Why cry in the laughter?
Why not make true the
dreams your after?
There's nothing wrong with dreaming.

Dream.

In life you are never dealt a pat hand.
There is always a joker or two.
With age we're supposed to be
wiser, I wonder.
Then why do we only remember
the thunder?
Why do we only remember the thunder?

Dream.

I know what it's like to be lonely.
I know the tight rope of time.
I know what it's like to be lonely.
I know what it's like to be blind.
I know because I'm a dreamer.
Just a dreamer.

Dream.

Why can't a dreamer's dream come true?

Very inspiring. This poem has me wondering about some of the questions asked in the poem. I am a dreamer myself and this poem is absolutely true. Why can't we understand some of our own dreams. Very good work.

the dreams your after? = should this be, the dreams you're after?

My favorite part is the "I know..." paragraph. I love repetition and rhyme. :)
