  In Argentina
Picture Credits:

A piece of my heart
Forever beats
in Argentina;
though it’s been there
only in my mind.
In photographs
and dreams alone,
that shard has seen her;
and with my spirit
flown there many times.

That pulsing fragment
has prowled her jungles -
like a lonesome jaguar;
and rode horseback
thru her pampas -
like a lost gaucho.

That restless splinter
has shared
the wonders of her city:
strolled her rare parks,
and cruised
her restless boulevards.
Always searching,
day and night,
the winding streets,
the alleyways -
the river walks.

In bright cafes
and dark tango bars,
that slice of my heart
has sought to hold her,
(radiant in red)
and to dance,
cheek to cheek,
to soft guitars.

That piece of my heart
and all of my soul
will wander eternity,
seeking her sad smile,
those precious,
oh, so serious eyes;
yearning to merge
with even
a little portion
of hers -
beating sweetly
somewhere
in Buenos Aires,
far away.

"Don't cry for me, Argentina".
A wonderful description for a place you've never visited. The closest I've been is Costa Rica. The Latin American countries are wonderful.
This well-written piece takes me away in my mind, like a wonderful imaginary travelogue.
