I miss you Daddy
by Ellis Garcia (Age: 20)
copyright 03-09-2003

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I looked into your eyes
And all I saw was Love

I gave you a hug
And all I felt was warmth

I heard your voice
And I was sure I was in heaven

I saw you standing at the door
And I felt protected

I heard your Laugh
And I saw Life

I saw you asleep
And peace took over me

I saw you cry
And your tears melted my heart

I asked for a Goodnight Kiss
And I felt I was truly happy for the first time

I saw you leave
And it broke my heart

I saw you wave goodbye
And I missed your laugh

I Feel so sad
And so does Mom

Daddy I miss you
When are you coming back?

I know this doesn't sound right, but it's nice to know how that feels. I know how oneperson felt, but he wasn't quite like everyone else. Now I know what it's like to a regular person.

Very dark, I'm a major dark writer and fan so I enjoyed this. It's a sad topic, and I know what's it's like to loose a loved one. I didn't loose my father, but I've lost many other important parts of my family. You may never see your father again but he will line on within your heart. The only thing that heals pain is time. It's slow, but it's life. You can lower the age rating a bit if you want though. Keep up the good work.

The title of the poem caught my eye. I am so glad it did. What a beautiful poem written with so much pain. Keep your loving memories, they are yours and with the love of God, it will guide you through all times.
