it makes me want to cry

Another tale is told
about life gone wrong

the meek and the strong
will inherit only dirt

For in this land
angels are just
a band

People looking for a cause
they think someone
did them wrong

Dying in the street
day light brings
another call

Angels falling from the sky
maybe you can answer why
this picture just seems wrong

Gun shots echo cross the land
not one understands
why angels fall from the sky

Man stands alone
on his throne
while all values
around him die

Angels falling from the sky
I feel a strange emptiness inside
