Feelings

Funny, Odd, Confusing
However they’re described

Coming from nowhere
completely out of the blue
From places you wouldn’t expect

Those of pleasure
Others of pain

Like a never ending cycle
For no matter what is done
again they come

Building like unstable blocks
Waiting for the imperfect moment
to come crashing down

~They build~
a slap, a yell, a glare
~They fall~
a poke, annoying laugh, a face far to friendly

But sometimes one wakes up &
all is well

I don't usually care for free verse unless the write really says something important to me. I give all the poetry that I read the "so what test." If I read it and say," so what!" Then I feel like," so what!" This poem did not fit the test for I really could feel the emotion while reading this. This was a good read and I think others will like it also! Anthony
