Jupiter is the largest planet in the heavens and the Roman god Jupiter was the most powerful of all the gods - he was the king of the gods. He was also called Jove (in fact, Jupiter means "father Jove"). In Greece, they called him Zeus. He was married to his sister Juno (Gr: Hera) and he had 2 brothers: Neptune (Gr: Poseidon) and Pluto (Gr: Hades). His father was Saturn (Gr: Cronos).

Jupiter was the god of the air and he threw thunderbolts (thunder and lightning) at his enemies. His power was said to be so great that, even if all the other gods were to stand against him, he would still win.

Sailor Jupiter is much less important than her namesake - she is not the leader or the most powerful. However, her attacks are often based on thunder and lightning, echoing Jove's thunderbolts.

jupiter should be the leader of the sailor scouts because she is the bravest of all and her planets the biggest so she should be the leader not serena, serenas a cry baby and not brave at all ^_^

That's what I meant, Leah. And I was including ALL the Sailor Scouts (even Saturn). Moon and Saturn are both more powerful than Jupiter and Moon is the leader.

Actually, Sailor Jupiter IS the most powerful of the inner senshi (except Sailor Moon, of course).
