The Moon And The Stars by Andreana Kramer

As I lay here in the grass
gazing up at the moon and stars,
I think about our long lost past
and the people we still are.
I think about the love
shared between you and me
How we swore it was forever
for all eternity.
Somehow, something happened,
and took our dreams away.
Memories were lost forever
on that horrid day
Then one day I saw you
and looked into your eyes
Your eyes were the bluest of blue
and that took me by surprise.
The eyes that belonged to my Princess
from so long ago
Were in this beautiful face
though I dared not to think so.
Have I finally found you?
Are you really real?
Are you the love I've been searching for
that death one-day did steal?
Then she handed me her locket
as tears formed in her eyes
You remember this don't you?
she asked, and then she smiled.
The locket I did remember
the tune I knew by heart.
The night that it all ended
and tore our love apart.
I held her in my arms
swearing to never let her go
I finally found my Princess
and I love her so.
As we lay here in the grass
gazing up at the moon and stars
We dream about our future
and the people that we are.
How we'll always be together
no matter what may be.
Our love will last forever
for all eternity.
