A star flies away
Through night and day

Will I remember you as all you seem?
All those times i've seen you in dream

You dont come by very often now anyway
I guess I just wasn't there to say

But where are you now?
I suppose I miss you somehow

It's just not fair
I was just never aware

But why is it me
is this how it has to be

So I sit here alone
This I cannot condone

I suppose if it is your soul I must lead
Then this i'm sure I must heed

I'll lead you back to the dark sky away
Where shining light you'll fly away
Through night and day
