~Destinies Flight~
by Connie Marcum Wong
copyright 07-31-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

An archive of memories
Flowing through me
Of what in kind
I used to be

Of thoughtless days
And sleepless nights
Where my heart grew cold
Before my soul turned light

Pain laid in pools
Encompassed by hate
Raging with anger
Circumventing my fate

Weary with worries
That seemed to call
Trying my patience
With visceral visions enduring all

Racing through lifetimes
As slowly the tide began to turn
And within this repetition
I began to learn

Enlightened I sojourned
Worlds I never knew
Ascending with prayers
And with feathers I flew

Seeking nirvana
As my souls end sight
With love lifting me
Into destinies flight.
