We walked together contented-
our fingers gently entwined,
arms fondly linked together,
or simply side by side

No need for spoken words,
the silence itself communicated
proof of our loyalty and friendship
Quiet whispers between souls

You gave to me the gift of hope
and strength to fight the demons
that invade my daily thoughts,
providing peace and calm to my life

I see you as a radiant star
glowing in the black of night
One my heart can make a wish upon
and know it has been heard

Even though the pain of absence
courses hotly through my veins
memories create healing visions
that I will hold close forever

I hope your future only holds
all that is good, happy, and light
Within my heart, no matter what,
you will have my undying love

A very tender love poem. I hope she see your loving heart in its words. Well done. Lyle
