Why Can't You Just Leave Me Alone
by Nguyen Tran Quynh Anh (Age: 18)
copyright 05-16-2003

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Why can’t you just leave me alone?
I’m tired.
Please don’t wake me up early
I’m sleepy.

Why can’t you just leave me alone?
Yes, I know you care for me,
But it’s too much
I just want my own freedom.

Why can’t you just leave me alone?
There are too many differences between us,
I can’t show you all my feelings
I just want to dream in my own imaginary world.

You always say, “You don’t like me, right?
Although I love you that much, you never show me your happy face.”
So, please understand me, grandma
Just leave me alone
Then I’ll show you my big, happy smile.

I don't feel that way with my Grandma - my Granny is a sweet-heart! lol but I often feel that way with my mom. I just want to tell her to get out and be quiet for once! lol I guess we'll live huh? Good work. :)
