What Remains
by Kay Lee Kelly
copyright 03-14-2003

Age Rating: 7 to 127

He stands alone,
the morning crowd hurries by.

He stands with staring eyes,
fixed on storefront window.

He stands motionless,
paralyzed his mind swims.

A misty flurry of images,
are they missing memories?

A darken imagination runs wild,
his mind swims in the flurry of images .

He stands unnoticed,
unknown people rush by.

People rush through him.,
Layers peel away .

Disappearance now complete,
lost in your world.

This world he no longer inhabits.
Where only his likeness remains.
