To An Engineer
by Praveen Agnihotri (Age: 33)
copyright 04-02-2003

Age Rating: 1 to 127

FEEDBACK:
It’s my reaction after talking to an engineer, who spoke out his mind about political system, constitution, government. He was simply going after everything inefficient, according to his definition. His definition, off course, mechanical not applicable on human affairs.

------------------------------------------------------

When your confidence level is high,
you often want to change and defy,
the established conventions you can’t justify.

Your justification is not needed yet,
we have competent men enough.

Your competency is established - no doubt;
you have held your cool head and been proud.

But it’s a different field altogether,
you have no idea what you are pondering over.

With hard work and grit you have proven,
You are superior to any normal brute.

But some problems have remained for so long;
just remember that you are not the only ‘superior’ born.

Many ‘Superior’ before have come and gone
Still these problems we have will live on.

Do not worry your little brain too much,
rr it will lose its ability to search.

Don’t question why you came here too long;
concentrate with your little brain and strive on.

Focus all your energy to search for oil;
15-20 years will be worth the toil.

At present you are just a superior brute,
Lost your humanity and worth? Point is moot.

Wait for some years, to gain insight,
and learn that you ‘re not always right.

That knowledge will make you quite humble,
then maybe you can untangle this jumble.
