A Heart of Gold
by Meg Horner (Age: 19)
copyright 03-25-2003

Age Rating: 1 to 127

You hold me close and touch my pain,
all bled together underneath a tattered stain

You pick me up when I fall and shelter me in the night
the dark begins to fade, and is restored with new light

You have kept my secrets through the years,
and you gave a shoulder for my tears

You have made the world a better place,
just within your smiling face

You surely do have a heart of gold,
and your amazing story of life should always be told.

dedicated to my best friend
Molly Frazier
