I caught up with Tsukino Usagi (AKA Serena) lately, and I was able to ask her a few questions. I have posted our conversation here (I got her permission to do so).
Esther: Hello, Usagi. Do you have a minute? I'd like to ask you a few questions.
Usagi: Sure! Do you mind if I eat while we talk?
Esther: Go right ahead. *stares while Usagi dives into her food and refrains from making comments about eating habits* Ok, first question: what do you like best about being Sailor Moon?
Usagi stops eating and stares at Esther, her eyes wide in shock.
Usagi: How do you know I'm Sailor Moon? That's supposed to be a secret!
Esther: Well, I'm an omniscient author and poet.
Usagi: Omnishi-what?
Esther: Omniscient. It means I know everything. But don't worry, I won't tell your secrets.
Usagi: Ok.
Esther: So?
Usagi: What?
Esther sighs.
Esther: What do you like best about being Sailor Moon?
Usagi: Oh! Well, I like helping people. And spending time with Tuxedo Mask. He's so cool.
Esther: But you get to spend time with him when you're just Usagi and Mamoru.
Usagi gapes.
Usagi: You do know everything, don't you?
Esther laughs.
Esther: I told you I'm omniscient. This leads to my next question: how did you get so lucky to catch such a gorgeous guy?
Usagi: Why? Are you jealous? I don't know why I'm so lucky, but I'm soooooooooooooooooo happy!
Esther laughs again.
Esther: I hope I find a guy like that someday.
Usagi: You keep your hands off my Mamoru-chan!
Esther: Calm down. I just want a guy who loves me like Mamoru loves you. I know Mamoru couldn't love anyone but you.
Usagi calms down.
Usagi: Okay...
Esther: So--
Usagi cuts her off.
Usagi: I gotta go! I'm gonna be late!
Esther: Late for what?
Usagi doesn't answer - she's too busy running off.
Esther: Well, that was interesting...
