Akita
by Tiffany N. (Age: 17)
copyright 04-07-2003

Age Rating: 1 to 127

Akita is my puppy,
She is very fluffy.
She has crystal blue eyes,
That I shall never despise.

They say she is part Pitbull,
But she hardly looks like one at all.
A Siberian Huskie is what she looks like,
Even though she is a little tyke.

She is very scared at night,
But I think she'll be alright.
She loves for me to hold her,
And I love to feel her fur.

She likes to bite things with her teeth,
She chews bones with her teeth.
You still wouldn't beleive her eyes.
I just can't shut up about them can I.

You would love Akita, I know.
Well, now I have to go.
I'll probably get to see her this weekend,
And the next, and the next, well, you get the idea.

I just got Akita on March 28, 2003. You would love her to death because she is so cute. the only reasons we got her were because she has those eyes, she is cute, and she is very calm. I hated to leave my dad's and not be with her, but I guess I had to. I love you, Akita, Percy, and Casper.:D

I bet she was sorry that you left, too! Dogs get separation anxiety, too! Cute poem! Oh, you're lucky that your dog has eyes that are so clear. My dog is blind, so her eyes are foggy and unfocused. And she's deaf too, but I still talk to her. Love dogs, love the poem!

I bet she was pretty and I'm sorry you don't have her anymore! This starts out just like your other one and ends when you have to go again. I liked reading it, Anthony

I like this one better than the other even. The eager innocence of childhood is simply breathtaking at times. Keep sharing it with us! :-)

I will have to write one about Casper, our other puppy that we got after her. As soon as I come up with something, I'll submit it here. Please read it. It will go along with Akita.
