Eternal love
by Regina S.
copyright 04-07-2003

Age Rating: 4 to 127

A beaten soldier lies forgotten,
A tired soul after an endless quest.
In times when true love has died and rotten
A broken spirit lies down to rest.

A lonely child lies weeping on a pillow
Her salty tears would fill the ocean floor
And touch the heart of just one dying willow
To show the world what friends are really for.

Both would travel worlds of endless fire
So many battles they have yet to fight
To fulfill their only true desire:
Just to know the other is alright.

For bonds of friendship never can be broken
And when they meet true love will be awoken.

Oh wow, this was so beautiful! I don't know how you write so good! I have a long way to go until I can write as half as good as you! The rhymes were absolutely perfect and so was the spelling and grammar, and it was perfect all around! I think this is one of the most heartfelt poems I have ever and will ever read. Bravo, Regina, simply Bravo!

this was a good poem, but it doesn't seem to have true meaning i mean it means something but it doesn'tseem very felt, umm I think it would be easier to explain with saying that "there doesn't seem to be enough devotion" but then that only gives an idea of what I mean i guess but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. otherwise it was a great poem.
