We are still a team.
by Sarah West (Age: 19)
copyright 04-08-2003

Age Rating: 1 to 127

This poem is for every one that has lost the one, the one they truly loved.

Even though you are gone,
we are still a team,
in the future I can't wait to see,
if you'll open up the gates for me.

Every time I pray,
every single day,
every move I make,
I will always remember you.

Thinking of the day,
when you went away,
What a life to make,
What a fun to fake,
I'll be missing you.

Even though you are gone,
we are still a team,
in the future I can't wait to see,
if you'll open up the gates for me.

I didn't write this poem all by myself, my friends in my school helped me write it, and I thank them, they did such a great job.

Heba, great job, but I don't understand why you used "know".

Great job, Sarah. The "even know you are gone" is a bit confusing, and I keep thinking it should be now, though know does fit. Otherwise, I like it
