I had a chance to talk to Mizuno Ami (AKA Amy) lately, and she gave me permission to post our conversation here.

Esther: Hello, Ami. Can I ask you a few questions?

Ami looks up from her book.

Ami: Certainly.

Esther: Thanks. First question: What do you like best about being Sailor Mercury?

Ami's eyes widen.

Ami: How do you know I'm Sailor Mercury?

Esther: I'm an omniscient author and poet.

Ami: I don't believe you. No one is omniscient. She eyes me suspiciously.

Esther: Well, I am. How else could I know?

Ami: Perhaps I am dreaming.

Esther: Yeah, sure. You're dreaming.

Ami: Then I will wake up. She pinches herself.

Esther: No, wait!

Ami fades away.

Esther: Aw, nuts. I guess I shouldn't have said that. Oh, well. Better luck with the next Scout - she's not so smart!

I love your column about meet Ami Mizuno the name must have a japanese name of some sorts. And when I read it I was shocked to read about what I have read Ami Mizuno is just a girl and Sailor Mercury is just a salior from another planet. Any ways I love the column. Keep up the good work.
