Empty

by Riley Mackenzie (Age: 21)

Age Rating: 7 +

Empty pages,
frail and faded thoughout the ages,
some torn dim,
others tattered,
but empty, you will stay.

Empty spaces,
the most vacant and unoccupied of all places,
some aglow,
others pitch black,
but empty, you will stay.

Empty faces,
reflecting and recollecting in absent minded hazes,
some hurt,
others hidding emotions,
but empty you will stay,
'til a renewed day,
where you might stand up and say,
your feelings that you've hidden away.

Riley, this is a pretty good poem, but in the last stanza did you mean to say hiding istead of hidding?
