"Blue Satin Pillow"
Sharon...©
Continued passion on my blue satin pillow flows with tear stains from yestday and the night before.
As I wait with my heart in both hands hoping you walk back through that door.
So tired of running after your love like a sick child
this constant game of make up- to break up is not my usual style
But the desire in my heart will not stop the beat of emotions I feel for you,
Just the way you look at me and all the wonderful things you do.
So come to me now like a moth to a flame
I'll say I'm sorry first, I'll even take all the blame.
My arms are holding you, in my mind's eye.
And if you don't return to me I think I will surely lay down and die.
Or maybe I'll just have a good cry, instead.
And lay my head, on the blue satin pillow, and wait for you in bed.
