The Magic Carpet Ride

The Magic Carpet Ride

One day I walked into the carpet store.
I had been there many times before.
But this time was very different see,
it was closing time, and no one else was there but me.
And of course the salesman who owned the place,
tall and handsome in the face,
and oh so fine.
I had seen him there before many times.
We laughed and talked each time I came then,
. I purchased carpet, mostly for the job I am in.
I was a real estate agent selling homes to many.
I was a work aholic and making deals a plenty.
Did not do much socializing, to tired I guess.
I spent most of my nights reading a good book and getting extra rest.
But the guy who owned the carpet store was always on my mind.
I guess it was his helpful ways and of course he was so fine.
And I was not blind ,
to the fact,
that, he liked me too.
It was all I could do,
just to keep from druling at the mouth
whenever I saw him...

Everytime I went to buy
for a new home owners floor.
He seemed to meet me at the door.
Almost as if he was looking for
me to show up there.
Always so attentive to my needs- always showing me that he really care.
We talked sometimes for hours as we walked around,
and not just about carpet but all lifes ups and downs.
I think it was at that moment when
I walked into the empty place,
and saw his handsome face.
My heart began to race. I could not keep up the pace.
Then I finally realized I had feelings for this man.
Or maybe it was the sweat rolling off my hands.
I could tell he must be feeling something too,
cause as I walked through the door, there was
a twinkle in his eyes, kind of sad, like pain.
And all of a sudden it began to rain.
His eyes began to twinkle and the rain was pouring hard,
not just a sprinkle. He put his arm around me,
I was close to him, he pulled me inside,
I couldnot hide.
The beat of my heart popped,
time stopped, or so it seemed.
We were now in the moment, the beginning of pulses rising high.
The moment of fast running to take off when you fly.
We were engaged in an embrace which
only lasted a moment but had forever written all over it.
I felt like I had been hit, or bit, or lit on fire.
My desire was raging inside of me.
How could this be, I could not see,
I was blinded with desire and the fire inside.

He said" How are you sweet lady”,..
(I was just about too close! I could not see)
He said “What kind of perfume are you wearing,
it has put a spell on me!
I laughed with a girlish smile
as I pushed him away and headed for the back ,
“You are so sweet to notice my perfume”, I said,
as I fumbled with the carpet rack.
But he was giving me no slack, his game was on and there was no lack,
to his persistent conversation.
Before I could move or say as much,
on my shoulder I felt his gentle touch!
While breathing deeply in my ear he whispered these sweet words.
And although I had the line before,
he said it better than I had ever heard.
“You know I like you very much, and I respect you, and I will
not over step my bounds unless you want me to. But
I go crazy, and my heart skips a beat, every time you
come in here, so tell me now what I must do to show you how I feel, my dear”
I promise it’s no lie,
I think I am falling in love with you, he said,
and I began to cry!
I felt so special in his arms, was more than I could bare.
My passion level began to rise and for once in my life I did not care.
Never had I ever done anything like this,
But I promise you, his loving I was not prepared to miss!
There were kisses, hugs, and tender moans of
exotic sensual delight, the rain was falling on
the roof as day turned into night.
Ever so slowly I turned to face him now, to
see the look in his eyes. His face was stained
with signs of tear drops, my heart leaped in surprise!
Could this be the true love, That I have been
waiting to see, or just another empty night of
sexual fantasy. But as these thoughts ran
through my head, he gently laid me on a bed,
of carpets on the floor. My mind said get up
right now and run straight to the door! But
my body was over heated and surrendered to
him for me! I closed my eyes ever so tightly
and his embrace was all that I could see.
The magic carpet ride began with his body
next to mine. We were saturated in juicy fruits
of love and making our own design.
So carefully he caressed me and pulled me close
to him, with flesh against flesh our bodies pressed,
as spirits deep and tight. The pouring rain was
playing a love song , melody,
as we took passions flight. We were in an ocean
deep, with bodies wrapped in dripping heat. Lips
kissing, tongues touching, feeling, healing, riding
and realign, so revealing. Our inner most beings
dwelling in delight, filled with each others flesh,
we traveled through the night Riding the magic
carpet through rivers and screams, we fulfilled
our wildest dreams. Never ending glorious
excitement, to the highest peek of essence.
We flew as the motion of panting grew.
As one in creditable being, with no sadness
or sorrow, no concern or thoughts for tomorrow.
For we were riding on a magic carpet of love,
and soaring through time and space free as a dove.
In each others arms, of embrace, passion, heat
and charm. We remained breathless, entangled,
and unashamed, until the morning came. And
night turned into a new day, and we went our
separate way. He gave me the carpet, I did
not pay.
We were silent and we did not say.
Anything to each other. Back to the reality
of life we went, with a magic carpet ride in
our minds, and the story ends....

Would you like to know how?
We made a vow.
And he’s my husband now!
