Maybe a rainbow somewhere
beneath the stream of tears,
a rescue from the darkness
which haunts through midnight fears.
Maybe a hidden laughter
lost under sorrow's voice,
will free the weeping spirit
and terminate the noise.
Maybe a ripple of sunshine
to wipe away the pain,
may peek through gloomy shadows
and bring hope once again.
Maybe a rainbow's glimmer
beneath the ashes glow,
will renew lost minds and hearts
and bring peace to wounded souls.
