When I learned to sing,
I had recieved my only blessing,
Music saved me from tears and sorrow.
Music made my heart outgrow,
Outgrow the solo,
The solo heart,
The heart that was small and now is big,
I had to dig,
Dig to find music,
Music was in my heart I just never knew it was there.
Music claimed me as it's own,
It took me out of the despair that haunted me,
Despair could only let me be disowned,
Music accepted me,
Music loved me and took me up and let me fly,
Music was the only clear path,
I truly was saved by music,
Music had saved me.
